Emery Village BIA Executive Director’s message
Strong neighbourhoods build strong communities. We must get out and enjoy the beautiful summer days, meet new neighbours, and enjoy our community.
The Emery Village BIA is happy to announce the return of our Annual Movie-In-The Park Night after pausing the event for the last three years for everyone’s safety and well-being during the Pandemic.
This year is also a very special year for Emery as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary at the BIA, and what better way to celebrate this milestone than by bringing back our annual Movie-In-The-Park Night.
Please join us on: Saturday, August 19th, 2023 (Rain Date - Sunday, August 20th, 2023) at the Joseph Bannon Park, 65 Mary Chapman Blvd., from 5:30pm to 10pm for a fun filled evening with children’s activities, music, and various food vendors from our Emery BIA Business Community like Starbucks, Freshii, Funnel Cakes, Tim Hortons, Hot Dogs & Hamburgers, our famous Popcorn, Freezes, as well as many other tasty treats and food sampling stations, face painting, canvas painting station, and splash pad, so mark your calendars, tell your neighbours and friends and don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or blankets and your appetite and join us in celebrating the return of our fun filled movie night, Emery’s 20th Anniversary and the wonderful and strong community we live in.
Additional parking is available at the Carmine Stefano Community Centre (3100 Weston Rd) and the Emery Plaza (located at Sheppard and Abraham Walsh).
