Emery Village BIA Executive Director’s message
Strong neighbourhoods build strong communities. As we continue to enjoy these sunny and beautiful summer days, meeting neighbours, sharing some fresh home-grown vegetables from the garden with others and enjoying our neighbours and our community.
The Emery Village BIA wishes to congratulate all the 2025 graduating students from
Emery Collegiate Institute, St. Basil the Great College, Westview Centennial Secondary School.
The Emery Village BIA has once again shown its commitment to our youth and the environment by awarding 6 students with the 2025 Emery Environmental Scholarship.

June 27th was the last day of school, which was celebrated with our 13th Annual Emery Movie In The Park Night and it was a fantastic night and what better way to kick off the summer with fun activities like bouncy castles, face painting, great local food and a free outdoor movie night under the stars.
Our Emery Village food vendors included: Pizzaiolo, Noodlebox, and 416 Softee-Ice Cream, as well as our Emery Kiosk with Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Freezies and refreshments, and let’s not forget Pet Value with free tasty treats samples for our pets.
A special thank you to all our community volunteers who came out for two days in a row to help with all the set-up, the Kiosk and then to clean up the park in the rain afterwards and a special thank you for all your support. Wishing you all a happy and safe summer holiday.
Warm regards,
Sandra Farina
Executive Director
