Safe Storage Depot honoured for 20 years of service

By Sean Delaney

Emery Village recently gathered to recognize one of its most trusted businesses, Safe Storage Depot, as it celebrates 20 years of exceptional service at 1945 Wilson Avenue.

Local representatives joined in the congratulations, including Councillor Anthony Perruzza, MPP Tom Rakocevic, and Emery Village BIA Executive Director Sandra Farina, alongside co-owner John P. Bujouves and staff. Special certificates of recognition were presented, applauding the company’s long-standing commitment to community and customer care.

Founded in 2005, Safe Storage Depot has grown from a single building into a large, modern storage facility known for its cleanliness, accessibility, and fair pricing. Their newest addition—Phase Three- offers climate-controlled, ground-level drive-up units, complete with enhanced security and lighting. It’s a facility designed with convenience in mind.

During the recent celebration, guests once again toured the impressive space, meeting team members Areef Mandol, Melina D’Onofrio, George Diavolitsis, and Drake Bujouves, who each play key roles in day-to-day operations and customer service.

“Safe Storage Depot has always been more than just a place to store belongings,” said Bujouves. “It’s a part of the Emery Village community.”

Congratulations to the entire Safe Storage team for two decades of professionalism and pride in service.
