Congrats to two great executives with one great Emery company
Joe Moscato and Peter Dichio Of Aurora Importing and Distribution Ltd.
Aurora Importing-Edoko Food Importers has appointed Joe Moscato as president and Peter Dichio as chief financial officer.
Moscato joined Aurora in 2018 as vice president of sales, adding the vice president of marketing role a year later. Moscato is a seasoned executive with over 22 years of CPG experience in various leadership roles within the grocery industry.
Dichio joined Aurora in 2016 after spending 10 years with Johnvince Foods as controller. A veteran financial professional, he will be overseeing finance, IT, and logistics.
Aurora Importing started in 1955 and has become synonymous with the finest Italian foods and products. More recently, Aurora relocated their head office to Emery Village in 2019. The Aurora carries approximately 2,400 products and is the largest importer of dry products from Italy to Canada; many of these wonderful products can be purchased at their retail outlet located at 350 Clayson Road.
