The holiday season is a great time to relax with loved ones, recharge, and prepare for the New Year. It is also a good time to give back to those less fortunate in our community, and the 31 Division Holiday Toy Drive has been one way of spreading the holiday kindness.
If you still have some last minute holiday shopping to do, look no further than the amazing local shops in your neighbourhood – it’s a way to find unique gifts that no one else might think of. Emery Village has lots of shops, bakeries, and retail stores for all of your holiday needs.
If you are looking to venture outside of Emery Village for a celebration there are several events happening all month around the city of Toronto that you can check out. For example, you can visit the Holiday Fair in Nathan Phillips Square (December 24th), the Toronto Christmas Market at the Distillery District (until December 24th), or the Casa Loma Nutcracker Christmas Nights (until December 30th).
As Metrolinx continues to work on the Finch West LRT, please remember to stay safe around construction zones. Follow safety rules and be extra mindful with the winter weather and slippery road conditions.
