Delta Bingo and Gaming Downsview aids 2018 initiative
By Sean DelaneyProvincial Constable Jennifer Rai, who helps assist 31 Division with community outreach in the Emery Village area, along with other members from the Division, were on hand at Delta Bingo and Gaming Downsview to pick up toys ready to be donated to the 2018, 31 Division Toy Drive.
Each year, 31 Division along with the assistance of the Emery Village Voice, Executive Director of the Emery Village BIA Sandra Farina and Manager of Delta Bingo Jessica Baker as well as Gaming Downsview generously give toys and cash donations to the toy drive each year.
These toys will be given out to children in need within 31 Division over the upcoming holiday season.
Farina, along with senior staff members of the Emery Village BIA Luana Popolis, Al Ruggero and Luisa Di Santo all want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season and a prosperous 2019.
The members of 31 Division sent thanks to everyone for their continued help and generosity at this time of year. Without the assistance of the community, their leadership noted, efforts and initiatives such as the toy drive would not have such a positive impact on the children of the community.
